Fire Watch Security in Ottawa
1Northwest Security Services delivers licensed fire watch security across Ottawa and the surrounding National Capital region. Officers are recruited, licensed, and dispatched from within Ontario — not routed through southern-Canadian call centres.
Overview
Fire Watch Security for Ottawa Clients
NFPA-compliant fire-watch rounds during sprinkler impairments and hot-work operations — deployed on the ground in Ottawa.
When a fire suppression system, alarm panel, or standpipe is offline — whether for maintenance, testing, hot-work, or renovation — the fire code in every province and territory requires a dedicated fire watch. Our officers are trained to NFPA 601 standards and carry sealed logbooks accepted by every AHJ we work with.
Fire watch is one of our most requested services during hospital and school retrofits, high-rise sprinkler upgrades, industrial welding operations, and post-fire re-occupancy in NL and PEI.
In Ottawa specifically, we routinely deploy this service to Parliament Hill, Rideau Canal, ByWard Market, and adapt it to the local geography, weather, and dispatch realities of National Capital, Ontario.
