Static Uniformed Guards in Yellowknife

A well-trained static guard is the single most effective deterrent against opportunistic crime. They are the face of your organization at 03:00, the first responder to every alarm, and the calm, procedural authority who de-escalates conflict before it becomes an incident.

1Northwest Security recruits from the local communities we protect. Guards deployed in Yellowknife, Yellowknife, Yellowknife, Yellowknife, and Yellowknife are hired, trained, and licensed in-territory — a practical advantage in remote regions where speed of response and community familiarity matter more than corporate polish.

Every guard we deploy has completed provincial Basic Security Training (or the territorial equivalent), Use-of-Force certification where legally applicable, WHMIS, First Aid & CPR-C, mental health first-aid, and 1Northwest’s proprietary Northern Operations module for extreme-weather sites.

In Yellowknife specifically, we routinely deploy this service to Legislative Assembly of NWT, Great Slave Lake, Old Town, and adapt it to the local geography, weather, and dispatch realities of North Slave, Northwest Territories.
