Construction Site Security in Rankin Inlet

Construction sites are among the highest-loss risk environments in Canada. Copper, tools, fuel, and heavy equipment routinely walk off unsecured sites. In territorial Canada — where a replacement excavator arrives by barge in July — a single theft can cascade into a season-long delay.

1Northwest Security combines mobile patrols, static guards, temporary CCTV towers, and light plants to eliminate the shadow gaps favoured by thieves. Our project managers write the security plan alongside your GC before ground is broken.

We routinely secure sites for ICI general contractors, hydro and utility work, cell tower builds, road and airstrip construction, and mining exploration camps across NL, PEI, NT, YT, and NU.

In Rankin Inlet specifically, we routinely deploy this service to Meliadine Gold Mine (Agnico Eagle), and adapt it to the local geography, weather, and dispatch realities of Kivalliq, Nunavut.
