Overview
Retail Loss Prevention for Whitehorse Clients
Trained loss-prevention officers who read behaviour, not stereotypes — deployed on the ground in Whitehorse.
Retail shrink in Canada has climbed sharply since 2020. 1Northwest’s LP program pairs uniformed deterrence at entrances with plainclothes officers on the floor — trained in behavioural observation, non-confrontational apprehension, and civil recovery procedure under provincial trespass and criminal-code frameworks.
Our LP officers understand the difference between an anxious first-time shopper and an organized retail-crime ring. We work with big-box, grocery, cannabis, liquor, and mall-based retailers across our coverage.
In Whitehorse specifically, we routinely deploy this service to Yukon Government offices, SS Klondike, Yukon Arts Centre, and adapt it to the local geography, weather, and dispatch realities of Southern Yukon, Yukon.
